How have everyone been for the past two days since i'm gone!?

basically, juz to ease your minds on where i went, *although i did remember mentioning it*..
but it won't harm to juz say it again haha...

25th November 2002, Wednesday, Christmas Day
Orchard is juz like any other weekends that is occasionally packed with people but not to the extend where we cant walk. in simple words, it's not like christmas. couldn't sense it anywhere. it was pouring before i reached... orchard became a place that smells of rain and cool moist but yet another dull and boring weekend. no christmas spirit noted. i met up with wilfred and brought along some things which he asked me off to decorate to his new house. he'll be moving into the new Queenstown condo.
we hanged around and decided to head up to grafitti cafe for a pit stop. sat dwn and chit chatted, we ordered a peach pearl tea while i was rearranging my baby photos... what was in the photo album were pictures of me when i was younger...at different phases... when i was a child.... when i was older.. in primary school... and while i was playing soccer in bras basah complex... to me, photographs are not juz taken for fun. they have a reason to be there and a story to tell. it's like a jigsaw puzzle that helps to piece my past together... a very important part of my memories.

ok, back to talk abt orchard. we met sano up at grafitti cafe.. sorta like he approached us. i was pretty surprised actually although i did chat with him online before going out.. i asked him to call us when he reach town since he told me he is coming. but wad i didn't know was that he's gonna watch movie alone haha.. said he didn't feel like asking anyone else along... i used to do that too... haha but now no more... me n fred walked around while sano was watching movie.. we meeting back with him when he's done with the movie. lotsa fashionable couples recently.. and also tall ones...as in both guy and ger v tall kinds... i wonder why haha.. i'm having a little bit of memory loss.. oh yah... me and wilfred went over to the man u shop... walked all the way there from heeren... it was a long walk plus, it was starting to pour. we end up being caught getting shelter at the hotel near forum... wilfred decides to run across and gotten me alittle bit wet and very grouchy.. but we got there and wilfred was happily looking around like a kid in a toy shop. there was this sale there and everything was going cheap... or rather cheaper than usual.. then soon after sano called up *time either flies real quick, or the movie was damn short* and we met up at the burger king at Liat Towers.. the one next to borders... then we sorta had our dinner there while i had half a chicken burger *then giv ike* and a rendang burger. sano ate turkey bacon while ike had a whopper meal... haha he ate so much..

then since it was still pretty early and there's no point staying in a lifeless orchard road, wilfred suggested that we go on down to his new hse to check it out... so we did.
the place is spectacular frm the outside. we went in thro the backdoor cos that's where the mrt is nearest to.... omost something like 'beside' it hahaa.... anyway, we went in, and the place wilfred's unit is, is pretty slick and classy and nice. only thing was that everything is so small.. the living room is rectangular and rather narrow... the rooms are darn small especially wilfred's.. i didn't like it at first cos it's too small and the view sux... but i'm alrite with it now.. we hang around looking and then fred brought us up to the penthouse... at the moment we can all go and check it out but when ppl start moving in we cant... cos it'll be owned by those who bought the hse that is on the highest level. most expensive but u get the view that is simply amazing. u get to see part of the city like toys frm high grounds. very nice and very windy. there's even a jacuzzi!!! damn cool! minus pts are, if rain, jia lat. if lighting, osho jia lat. haha.. we went back dwn and go home after that but arranged to go swimming tomorrow!!!! whee! it's been years since i last swam man! yeeeeeaaaars....

then soon we went back home by taking a train back.. pretty convenient.. and since wilfred's dad has gone to work, i'm more or less relieved. the only person at home was his mum who kept herself in the room when i juz entered the house. while we unpacked and all, wilfred's room is now much more emptier... he took dwn the posters to transfer them to his new room tomorrow... while he watched his wrestling, i played The Sims.

then, we bathed and had supper.. shared a bowl of maggi fred cooked.. chatted through the night about loads of things..till about 3AM or so... i love talking to him like this. no stress and very fun.

26th December 2002, Thursday
we sorta slept and wilfred say he had a disturbed sleep.. he dreams alot and it's caused him to have little rest.. but we woke up at about 12:00PM. cool part was we were chatting and lazying around on the bed while he joked about some stuff. hugging him and juz sleeping there was a very cosy and nice feeling.
hm..we got ourselves out of bed and basically, our finances are damn damn damn the tight cos i'm left with $20. and i have to pay for my registration fee for signing up for my Advance 2 japanese language course. i didn't know how much i needed to bring... *urgh*..we rushed through doin omost every single thing... the packing up and all.. and rushed down at about 1PM to have our lunch. chicken rice for both of use with two cans of coke. rushed through eating that we then rushed to draw some money out for paying off my fees. i drew out $110 and had $80 on my own. tot $190 would do the trick but was proven so wrong later. we rushed and i topped up my ezlink card with $10 and now i'm left with $10. rushed off taking the mrt to bugis, we went on to my JCS upstairs to get the number and the application form. the whole registration thingy starts at 2:30PM. wilfred waited downstairs. you might think i'm being kiasu. but it pays to be there early. when i reached, already many ppl reached and was collecting number tags. i'm number 28. i waited for a long while i soon managed to get the slot for the class i wanted: saturday 2:00 - 4:10PM. i proceeded to the counter to pay but the queue was freaking long. took me another half an hour to finish it all and got out of the building only after 3PM. one thing i missed out was, i found out that the total bill was $215. i was $25 short. so i had to resort to borrowing $20 frm my ex-classmate. mum called earlier on saying that my cousin was unable to be contacted and she had to get guma to come over and stand in for him at my house. the construction is still goin on. when we're done wilfred told me sano aint comin over to swim.... i was alittle sad about it cos i wanted there to be more ppl.. anyway, me n wilfred headed to his new hse straightaway. he was holding my bag and his posters while i held his bag *lighter* and some stuff i wanna put at his hse as deco.. then when we reached there, we cleaned up his room. the floor, the window and the wall. windows were terribly hard to clean..so scared to fall dwn hahaha.. we hung up the posters and rearranged things alittle and now the room looks so much more pleasant. cos the whole hse is with aircon..

then i gav sano a call since it's not raining and managed to persuade him to come over to swim! YAY!
he very power leh! swim so fast hehehe i swim half already wan to die liao haha faster call ike and cling onto him like koala bear hee then hug onto him while he bring both of us around... then he teach me make BUBBLES! hee sho fun!! *goes bouncy* then he teach sano osho hee! i so long never swim very tiring haha but very fun and i dun wan to get out of the water hahaha.. ike lookz cute in water hahaha *gawks*

then when we finish swimming we went upstairs and eat the food in the hamper haha cheeseballs and butter cookies!!!! yummy! then... hang ard awhile liao we left haha.. all in all today was great! i took the train and changed to bus home.. wilfred n sano is now watching soccer at home..
